Since 1968, ZOR Engineers has been providing design, engineering, and construction services throughout Pakistan. It was founded by two British Engineers, Dennis Norris and Dan Bavington, with a vision to bring quality engineering to Pakistan. The founders quickly appointed three Pakistani directors including Col Joe Abel who greatly strengthened the Pakistani identity of the company. Following the death of Col Abel in the late 1990s his son Mr. Michael Abel assumed his role as Chairman of the Board of Directors. Since it was established the company has completed hundreds of projects ranging from small relief & development work to large commercial and industrial buildings.
Currently, the company operates out of offices in both Lahore and Karachi, with the ability to provide services throughout all of Pakistan. ZOR’s broad client base includes various national and international NGOs, commercial enterprises, embassies/consulates, universities, churches, schools, educational institutes, and other organizations. Services provided by ZOR include surveys, feasibility studies, architectural and engineering design, budgeting & estimating, construction, construction management, building audits, and other related services. At Zor we have a commitment to integrity, honesty and transparency. We aim to be ethical in all our business dealings, both with our clients and our own staff. We do not tolerate any forms of corruption or business malpractice. We have maintained a clean reputation and we guard it carefully. Our approach to our clients is not that of a typical hard-nosed building contractor.
